A photojournalistic feature exploring the close relationship between football and Northern Ireland, presented as part of my undergraduate dissertation at the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
The project is a journey through the north of the island, exploring the identity of clubs such as Derry City and Linfield, both historically shaped by the political and conflict-driven context of the territory.
The feature also includes articles dedicated to Belfast Celtic, which is commemorated through a mural in the city of Belfast, as well as a piece on Bobby Sands, whose memory is preserved in another mural. The project also features an interview with Irish journalist Richard Fitzpatrick.
Inspired by Panenka magazine, the project was ultimately presented in magazine format.
